Loco Shows are full of high energy original madness and ass shake'n good times, CHECK IT OUT!

**We at the MACHEEN would like to extend our full encouragement of taping and recording our live shows. Posting them, trading them and enjoying them time and time again.**

In the summer of 2002 Loco created "The Dewayn Brothers" a bluegrass outlet for thier old time interest. Billing it as... Loco Macheens Bastard Bluegrass, The Dewayn Brothers took off fast. Performing at area clubs and functions Dewayn created a strong name in the local music scene, and has generated an impressive fan base. Enjoy these two bands, but be confused no longer Loco Macheen is The Dewayn Brothers and The Dewayn Brothers are Loco Macheen!

LoCOLO TOUR 2004....
WELL WHO-A-DOO-HOOO!!! The Colorado Tour was AWESOME we played everyday(many times numerous shows a day) met many new and exciting people, and just had a great time. This is our brief update.....

DAY 1. Left Emporia @ 4:00am on July 2nd, drove straight through to Gunnison Colorado it took about 13hrs. Arrived at R.L.'s house pounded a few beers enjoyed the mountain view, HELPED petey up after the beers and the NEW altitude were to much and he just passed out and fell straight through the poarch. Then we ate BBQ and hoobied the Colo. goods, yum yum....but oh dont worry Petey's fine!

DAY 2. Drove up the mountains to beautifull Crested Butte, Colorado where we enjoyed great beers and pizza as we played the "Brick Oven". We did Dewayn Brothers and then softly and funk'aly filtered in Loco Macheen, it was a BIG hit, we did awsome on tips and merch..we will definatly be back to that "Brick Oven". After our show our road buddies and colorado locals "Mamas Cookin" invited us to party @ The Eldo-right up the street where they were playing a set. Soooo we did and they rocked and beers rocked us and we rocked the BANDVAN all the way home(back to Gunni).

July 3rd Crested Butte

DAY 3. The 4th of July, we hiked down along a river in the Black Canyons and explored with tour guides R.L. & Angela, who were also our room and board..we cant say thanks enough!...THANKS

July 4th, Gunnison

Day 5. A 2hr. drive through the twisty, narrow mt. passes on the way to Creede, Colorado...we were scared! But fearless BANDVAN driver and bass player Kelby got us through without even a scar. The town of Creede is very small and it once was a mining town. The Dewayn Bros. played at the "Tommyknocker Tavern". IT WAS F***ING KILLER, we played great the place was packed and it was the middle of the afternoon...so we partyed like it was midnight! -Oh then ..drunk(not Kelby) we got back in the BANDVAN and ventured to the next stop "The Almont Resort" in Almont, Colorado. This place was HUGE probly the biggest stop on the tour. Later that night Dewayn again opened for Loco Macheen, we made some big fans that night it was a lot of fun. July 5th being keyboardist Brians B-DAY we all got drunk with him...again. We were put up in awsome cabins and fed GREAT food on the venue.

July 5, Creede, CO.

July 5, Almont, CO.

DAY 6. The Coach Light Lounge in Gunnison, Colorado, our last night in the mts. Can ya guess, Dewayn opend for Loco Macheen and the response was excellent, like the clubs we played earlier in the tour the Coach Lih=ght assured us another spot next time we were in town.

July 6, Gunnison, CO

Day 7. We drove about 6 or so hrs. up to Ft. Collins, Colorado where we headlined the open mic @ Diamonds Billiards. It was very intresting playing an open mic night, we always thought we had to many members. It went well, we will keep Diamonds in mind for future Colorado runs. Ft. Collins is where we met up with "Fatty Jenkins" a latin, funk, high energy groovy explosion that would play the next 3 dates with us.

Day 8. Fatty, Dewayn, and Loco walk into a bar and the bartender sa.ys..ah...just kidden, but we all did go to a bar and it was Denver based "Cricket on the Hill" where Dewayn opened for Fatty who was followed by LOCO the night was full of energy, music and booze.

July 8, 1 Denver, CO

Day 9. Staying in Ft. Collins with Fatty singer J.P. and roomate Heidi, we got up on this friday ready to play! We all headed up to boulder Colorado where we played @ The Thunderbird Burger, the food the staff the place was great. On this Night Loco Macheen kicked the night off and Dewayn followed, about halfway through the Dewayn set a "Fuzzy wazzy was a pigglet" or police officer as many call them came in and shut us down. Dewayn a Pig and a lot of picken was all it took to kill the party.

Pearl St. Pick'in.

Day 10. Last show of the tour, We head back to Denver for a final night blow-out. The club was called "Bottums up" the line up was Loco Macheen & Fatty Jenkins. It Rocked we did real good on everything, and with the awsome playing of Fatty, the help from all the friends and that great Rocky Mt. Hoobie we all had the time of our lives!
